Another 2024 Lanwades wedding, and I’d been looking forward to this one for a very long time.
The bride and groom were Sasha and Chris, very long time friends and one-time neighbours. This was always going to be a wedding to remember both professionally and personally.
Lanwades is also one of my favourite venues to work in, and it’s always good to catch up with other known wedding professionals whilst I’m there.
The evening’s entertainment was started off by the band that had been performing during the afternoon with the first dance – Thinking Out Loud my Ed Sheeran.
And then it’s my time to shine.
I always feel a little bit more pressured when entertaining at the wedding of somebody I know personally, but as ever there was absolutely no need to worry.
The dance floor stayed packed for pretty much the entire evening, despite the mercury soaring up the thermometer (oh boy it was hot in there!)
Some photos
Lanwades whilst the disco lighting’s going is never the easiest place to get photos – the wooden panelling plays havoc with my phone camera for some reason.
And finally, the played list
I’d been given a small selection of requests by Sasha & Chris before the evening, and guest requests were more than welcome on the night along with a mix of my own input.
Here’s what went through the PA system on the night
